Current Weight: 374.6 lbs ( -65.4 lbs )

I am down 1 pound under yesterday.  The Doritos that I ate did not seem to have the negative effect that I thought they would.  According to my spreadsheet, I have lost 6.8 pounds from two weeks ago, at 3.4 pounds a week.  My Easter binge threw off my totals, so we will see what the next two weeks looks like.

Morning Diet Journal

It is my day off, so I slept late.  I woke up around 10:00am, and got a shower.  I weighed in at 1 pound under yesterday.  Not too shabby, considering I got into a couple bags of Doritos.  My trend line remains intact.

After my appointment with Melissa, to check in, I went by Sam’s to pick up some groceries.  I was looking for radishes, and other healthier items than carrots and peas.  I couldn’t find any radishes, so I went with baby cucumbers, and mixed baby tomatoes.

After I got home I cooked up a late breakfast.  I had my usual omelette, and protein shake with an avocado.  I ate a baby cucumber while I was cooking up breakfast.

Looking at my graph, I think this is the longest streak I have been on, so far.  Let’s keep up the good work.

Afternoon Diet Journal

The afternoon went pretty well.  I had lunch around 3:00pm.  I cooked up my usual chicken and veggie dish.  When I was at Sam’s I got stir fry vegetables.  I am disappointed because it is all in one big bag.  The Northwestern vegetables I was buying had 4 individual bags packed into a large bag.  I thought the stir fry vegetables would be the same.  Anyway, I cooked up the stir fry vegetables with the chicken, and it turned out really well.  I like the water chestnuts.

Evening Diet Journal

I took a nap from around 3:30pm to 5:00pm.  After I woke up, I went upstairs to cook dinner.  I made a new recipe for my steak, and it was great.  I pan fried the steak in olive oil for about 3 minutes a side.  After that was done, I added a tablespoon of butter, a couple of garlic cloves, and a half a tablespoon of spreadable ginger.  I stirred that around, and then put it in the oven at 400 degrees, and cooked it for 13 minutes.  While that was in the oven, I cooked the vegetables on the stove, in the usual stir fry manner.  When I slapped it all together and added salt, it was awesome.

I stayed out of the Doritos today, and kept my snacking to a couple of baby cucumbers, and some snap peas.  Overall it was a great day, and I am looking forward to the next two weeks.  The stir fry vegetables I bought have more carbs than I would like, but I think that is mostly the sauce that comes with them.  I am going to be omitting the sauce from future meals with these vegetables.  Other than that, I was right on target.
